We are pumped to announce huge news for the tenth annual Northwest Nightmares Film Festival. After just throwing the idea out there and asking for donations, we were able to secure some killer prizes for a few lucky filmmakers.

From the boiler room of your favorite scar faced, fedora wearing demon, Robert Englund himself, sent us two prizes to couple with the awards this year. The first being two autographed photos of himself and the second being a signed (and boxed) Freddy Krueger Funky Pop figure. It’s glorious!

We’re also pleased to announce that our event organizers are working hard to make this the best year yet for our filmmakers. All donations (monetary and in-kind) are being given right back to the film creators by way of prizes and awards. Local businesses should reach out to Paul Snyder at Northwest Access TV (802-782-8676) to discuss how they can get involved. Gift cards are a perfect item to couple with the ten awards we have this year.

We hope you’re excited for this years festival. Ten years is a long time to be doing anything but we couldn’t imagine Halloween in Franklin County without a dozen or so community made horror flicks at the movie theater.

Stay spooky!

A few awards and a Robert Englund signed Funko Pop are just a few items up for grabs as prizes for Northwest Nightmares in 2022.
